Robert E. Yde formed his production company in 1966 and during the initial five years of his work in the entertainment industry, helped to produce such television spectaculars as Miss Universe, Miss USA, The America's Junior Miss Pageant, Senior Bowl Football, The Orange Bowl Parade and Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade for America's ABC, CBS, and NBC television networks.

Cassie M. Yde joined Mr. Yde in 1969 and the partnership resulted in the creation of additional television programming for the major U.S. television networks and such international networks as CBC and CTV in Canada, the BBC in the United Kingdom and the SABC in South Africa. The Ydes also traveled to virtually every corner of the world to produce television series and specials for worldwide distribution.

The couple's live presentations include the original version of Jesus Christ, Superstar; the Broadway musical Hard Job Being God; and concert presentations featuring a wide variety of artists including Bob Hope, Bill Cosby, The Who and Jose Feliciano.

The Ydes formed TVS Inc. in 1989 and continued producing shows while also distributing the work of other independent producers.

TVS is best known today for children's shows Real Life 101, Ultimate Choice, What's Up! ¿Que Pasa, Jane Sew & So and VJIAM.tv and the lifestyle series, P. Allen Smith Gardens, FBI Files and The New Detectives. Cassie Yde's production credits include Get Reel for the children's cable network WAM!, Get Reel Music Mix for Voice of America and TVS' Real Life 101.

Mr. Yde passed away on December 18, 2006. His career as an experienced television producer, director and writer earned him much respect in the industry. Mrs. Yde has extensive credits as a television producer and post production supervisor. In her husband’s honor, she will continue the excellent work that the couple began 38 years ago distributing, syndicating and producing quality television programming domestic and worldwide.
